About Me

Benjamin Henshall

Since graduating from the University of Liverpool with first class honours in 2016, I have spent more than one and a half years immersed in the world of iOS development.

A year of this time was spent as a mobile developer at Coderus, helping to provide native iOS app solutions clients.

During the spring of 2018, I built and released my first solo app, RatesMate - a simple currency converter that includes 160+ different currencies and tipping information for 65+ countries. A technological overview of this project can be found here.

Outside of app development, I have a hobbyist interest in the philosophical and sociological impacts of the Artificial Intelligence field. My interest of AI likely stems from my love of hard science fiction - my favourites being Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke.

I also enjoy playing video-games and watching films. In 2012, I finished my goal of watching each film in the 100 top rated films list on IMDB.
